Christmas Haul | Blogmas #1

Welcome to the first day of Blogmas!! I'm so excited to be doing this this year! I will be doing one post every day up until Christmas! I will try to make it a bit interesting with doing different kind of posts rather than just my typical re-cap posts. I hope you enjoy! Today I'm going to go over my Christmas Haul this year! We usually get Christmas decorations right after Christmas for the next year because that is when they are the cheapest but since moving into our new house (which is larger than our last house) it seemed like our Christmas decorations weren't taking up the house and it seemed a bit bare. I decided to get some stuff over the past few weeks. It's mostly from Walmart but there are some garage sale items.  I got three garland sets. Two were pre-lit and one was not. I put the prelight ones on the staircase and around the front door. For the mantle I just grabbed one of the cheaper ones and folded it in half to make it thicker. I ti...

First Day After the Flu and Post-Election Day

Yesterday was the first day where I haven't felt like I got hit by a bus. Yay! I actually felt pretty good. My muscles were a little sore and I was a bit tired but overall I felt pretty good. I woke up after a NyQuil induced sleep and opened the windows, turned off the outside lights, and fed Lando his breakfast. Then I got ready for the day and I voted! After voting I came back home, watched a youtube video while I ate some breakfast and drank some water mixed with Mio and some On Guard EO Blend. Afterwards, I started putting all of my notes into flashcards on my Cram account . I finished all of my notes and then got to some house work! Then, I made some supper for Jake. I made fajitas because its super quick and easy! ~~~~~~~ Today I woke up and saw the results from the election. (Don't worry I'm not going to make this into a political post.)
